Courtney Thorne-Smith Bio
American actor Courtney Thorne Smith (born November 8th in 1967). Her most well-known roles include Alison Parker on Melrose Place and Georgia Thomas on Ally McBeal. She was also on the show as Cheryl in According to Jim and Lyndsey McElroy on Two and a Half Men. Thorne Smith was born in San Francisco and raised in Menlo Park (a suburb to San Francisco). Walter Smith was her father and Lora Thorne was her mother. Both were computer market researchers. They divorced when Courtney was just seven and she lived with both parents in different times. She has an older sister named Jennifer, who is an advertising executive. She attended the Menlo-Atherton high school located in Atherton, California and graduated Tamalpais High School in Mill Valley in 1985. While in high school, she also was a member of the Ensemble Theater Company in Mill Valley. Thorne Smith made her first film role in the 1986 film Lucas alongside Winona Ryder and Corey Haim. In the 1980s, she was involved in several movies like Welcome to 18 (1986), Revenge of the Nerds II : Nerds in Paradise (1987), Summer School (87) and Side Out (1990). In 1998, she appeared as an actress in the box office flop Chairman Of The Board alongside Carrot Top. In 2009 she appeared in Sorority Wars. Thorne Smith was a lover of Andrew Shue from Melrose Place in the 1990s. The actress was married to geneticist Andrew Conrad in June 2000. They split in 2001. Roger Fishman (president of Zizo Group Zizo Group, a marketing company) and the author of What I Know was her wedding date. On the 11th of January, 2008, at age 40 she gave birth Jacob Emerson Fishman, her son. Jacob Emerson Fishman.
