Drew Blythe Barrymore, born 22nd February 1975, is an American actor. She has received numerous awards which include a Screen Actors Guild Award Award as well as a Golden Globe. There have been five Emmy Award nominations as well as an BAFTA nomination and five Emmy Award nominations. She is part of the Barrymore actor family , and is the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore became famous as a child actress with her performance in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a difficult childhood, full of alcohol and drug abuse, she published Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. She then appeared in a string of successful films in the 1990s, which included Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
